American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a part-time Radiology/X-Ray Technologist for weekend shifts. ARRT(R) certification and at least 1 year of experience are required.

Epic EMR and PACS experience preferred; compact license must be in hand at submission. This is a community hospital setting with 109 beds and a 30-hour weekend schedule. You will perform radiographic studies including abdomen, chest, extremities, spine, pelvis and fluoroscopy, plus mobile and surgical imaging.

Competenze

• ARRT(R) certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Minimum 1 year of radiology experience.
• Community hospital experience preferred.
• Epic EMR experience required.

Mansioni

• Perform radiographic studies including abdomen, chest, extremities, spine, pelvis, skull and fluoroscopy.
• Perform mobile and surgical imaging including C-arm and portable studies.
• Prepare and/or administer contrast media.
• Follow block scheduling with 3x10 hour day shifts and weekend coverage.
• On-call 1–3 days per month.
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratio and limit cross-unit floating.
• Use Epic EMR and PACS systems.
• Travel between sister facilities may be required.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• ARRT(R) and BLS certification required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Experience in adult acute care, adult outpatient, emergency department, ICU, and operating room settings preferred
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• License required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience required

Responsibilities

• Short term acute care hospital setting with 109 staff beds
• Part-time, weekend schedule: Friday-Sunday, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM, 30 hours per week
• 3x10 hour day shifts
• Block scheduling required
• On-call required 1-3 days per month
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• No floating between units required
• Uses Epic EMR and PACS system
• Performs a wide range of radiographic studies including abdomen, chest, extremities, spine, pelvis, skull, and fluoroscopy procedures
• Performs mobile/surgical imaging including C-arm, portable chest, and portable abdomen studies
• Prepares and/or administers contrast media
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities near the contracted facility
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront; limited RTO is recommended to avoid delays
• Scrubs of any color accepted; provided for OR, Critical Care, ED, and Maternal Child units
• No parking fees
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
• Former Providence permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period
• 2 references required, covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
