Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a short-term acute care facility in Oregon. Open to first-time travelers with at least 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities include general X-ray coverage, 1:1 patient ratios, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM shifts, and no weekends or on-call. Epic charting is used, with a Level IV trauma center setting and 60 beds. Housing and travel reimbursements are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year radiology experience.
• Community hospital experience preferred.
• ARRT (R) and BLS certifications required.
• Oregon state license required if applicable.
• Imaging: abdomen/GI, chest, spine, pelvis, extremities, and trauma radiography.
• Experience with C-arm, portable/mobile procedures, and bedside imaging.
• Proficiency with GE, Philips, PACS and Carestream equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of infection prevention, PPE and radiation safety.

Responsibilities

• General X-ray coverage including surgical cases, ER, outpatient, and inpatient procedures.
• 1:1 patient ratios.
• 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• No weekends or on-call required.
• No floating between units required.
• Epic charting system.
• Facility is a short term acute care, Level IV Trauma Center with 60 beds.
• Scrubs may be any color; business casual also accepted.
• No parking fees.
• Candidates living within 50 miles may be accepted at a lower bill rate.
• Former Providence employees may return after a 3-month waiting period.
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays.
• RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the application process.
• 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required.
