American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with 1+ year of experience and ARRT(R) certification for a 13-week assignment in Texas. The role involves adult and pediatric imaging, portable studies, and C-arm procedures in a hospital setting.

You will work 3x12 hour day shifts (Fri–Sun) with no on-call requirement and holiday rotation. BLS and ARRT(R) are required; license may be needed where applicable, with travel experience highly valued.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year of radiology technologist experience.
• ARRT certification and BLS required.
• License required if applicable.
• Teaching hospital experience preferred.
• Trauma Level II experience preferred.
• Experience with charting systems.
• Able to image across all age groups from neonate to older adult.

Responsabilidades

• Perform bedside/portable procedures and C-arm imaging.
• Image across abdomen/GI, chest and thorax, head, spine, pelvis and extremities.
• Work 3x12 hour day shifts: Fri, Sat, Sun 12:00 PM–12:00 AM.
• No call required; rotate holidays as they fall.
• Use PACS imaging system.
• Travel experience highly preferred.
• Complete facility-required lab work within 72 hours or have a timely plan.
• Facility conducts onsite drug screening with marijuana testing; positive results cancel.
• Avoid CBD products prior to arrival.
• Local candidates within 110 miles are not accepted.

• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Experience with any charting system required
• Able to work with patients across all age groups from neonate to older adult

Responsibilities

• Adult acute care and adult/pediatric outpatient settings
• Performs bedside/portable procedures and C-arm mobile/surgical imaging
• Imaging coverage includes abdomen/GI, chest and thorax, head, upper and lower extremities, spine and pelvis
• Uses PACS imaging system
• 3x12 hour day shifts, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM
• No call required
• Rotational holiday coverage as they fall
• Responsibilities include general radiographic imaging across multiple anatomical regions and patient populations
• Follows isolation precautions and proper PPE protocols
• Travel experience highly preferred
• Facility requires completion of lab work within 72 hours of accepting an offer, or a documented plan for timely completion
• Facility conducts its own onsite drug screening, including marijuana testing, with any positive result resulting in automatic cancellation
• Candidates should avoid substances that could affect drug screen results, including CBD products, prior to arrival
• Local candidates within 110 miles are not accepted for this position
