The role involves imaging in both adult and pediatric acute care hospital settings, with responsibilities across ED, ICU, NICU, OR, and outpatient areas using GE/Siemens equipment and Cerner for documentation. Evening shifts are 3:00 PM–11:00 PM (5x8 hours) with every other weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R) and BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• Cerner charting experience preferred.
• Trauma Level II experience preferred.
• At least 1-2 years of travel experience required for first-time travelers.
• Experience with contrast media preparation and administration.
• Knowledge of infection prevention, isolation precautions/PPE, and radiation safety.

Responsibilities

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• At least 1-2 years of travel experience required for first-time travelers
• Experience with contrast media preparation and administration
• Knowledge of infection prevention, isolation precautions/PPE, and radiation safety
• License required if applicable

Responsibilities

• X-Ray Tech unit within an adult and pediatric acute care hospital setting
• Work settings include Emergency Department, ICU, NICU, Operating Room, acute care, and outpatient areas
• Performs abdomen, upper and lower extremity, spine, pelvis, chest, and head imaging studies
• Performs trauma imaging including trauma shoulder/humerus and trauma lower extremity studies
• Performs mobile and surgical imaging including C-arm, portable chest, and portable abdomen procedures
• Performs fluoroscopy and enema studies including barium swallow and barium enema
• Uses GE and Siemens imaging equipment with PACS system
• Uses Cerner for documentation, Omnicell for medications, and SBAR for communication
• Evening shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
• Every other weekend coverage required, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
• First-time travelers considered with 1-2 years of travel experience
• Candidates within 75 miles are considered local and may be subject to a reduced rate
• Full 7-year work history with all employment gaps explained required for consideration
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required
• All time off requests must be submitted at the time of consideration
