Responsibilities

• Covers Radiology in community hospital setting (OR, ED, outpatient, inpatient, portable).

• Ensures quality diagnostic studies and continuity of patient care; coordinates exams.
• On-call 8–10 days per month; 40-hour week with 8-hour shifts, start times 12:00–14:30; weekend/holiday coverage.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of X-ray experience required
• ARRT registration required
• Current BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Compact license not accepted for this position

Responsibilities

• Community hospital setting within the Radiology department
• Covers OR, ED, outpatient, inpatient, portable, and independent imaging work
• 40-hour work week on afternoon shifts, 8-hour shifts with start times between 1200-1430
• Includes weekend and holiday coverage
• On-call requirement of 8-10 days per month
• Must live or stay within 30 minutes of the facility during the assignment for on-call purposes
• Performs special procedures, vascular and cardiovascular imaging studies
• Implements activities to establish and maintain quality diagnostic studies
• Coordinates special procedure exams to ensure quality and continuity of patient care
• Contributes to efficient department operations and supports patient care plans
• Local candidates within a 35 mile radius are considered local travelers with adjusted pay rate
• Maximum of 5 days of requested time off (RTO) during the assignment
