American Traveler is hiring an X-Ray Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT (R) certification to work in a Level I Trauma hospital setting. Responsibilities include rotating through Adult Acute Care, ED, ICU and OR with 4x10 hour shifts and weekend coverage.

Requirements include ARRT (R) certification, BLS, and 2+ years of travel or recent experience; knowledge of infection control and radiation safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience required, 3+ years preferred.
• ARRT (R) certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Level I Trauma experience required.
• Proficiency in abdominal, chest/thorax, spine/pelvis, and extremities imaging.

Responsabilités

• Rotates through Adult Acute Care, Outpatient, ED, ICU and OR.
• Performs bedside/portable procedures.
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Fri-Mon, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
• Weekend coverage as needed.
• Uses GE/Philips imaging equipment; PACS and O-ARM/C-ARM.

American Traveler is hiring an X-Ray Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT (R) certification to work in a Level I Trauma hospital setting.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience required, 3+ years preferred
• ARRT (R) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Proficiency in abdomen/GI, chest and thorax, spine and pelvis, upper and lower extremity imaging required
• Experience with fluoroscopy studies including arthrography, barium swallow, myelography, and upper GI series preferred
• C-Arm and O-ARM procedure experience preferred
• Knowledge of infection prevention, isolation precautions/PPE, and radiation safety required
• License required if applicable
• Must have completed at least one prior travel assignment; first-time travelers not accepted unless 3+ years of experience

Responsibilities

• Rotates through Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Emergency Department, ICU, and Operating Room settings
• Performs bedside/portable procedures
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Friday-Monday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (subject to change)
• Weekend coverage as needed
• Uses GE and Philips imaging equipment, O-ARM, and PACS system
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• Must be willing to work 2 of 3 major end-of-year holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) if all fall within assignment, or at least 1 of 2 if only two occur
• Local candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of application; RTO requests will not be accommodated after an offer is made
• Former permanent staff or travelers must be separated from the facility for at least one year before being eligible to return
