American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 1 year of experience for an outpatient clinic setting.

The role involves imaging of abdomen, limbs, spine, chest and head using GE equipment, with PACS and Epic EMR. Shifts are 4x10 hours, with a rotation that includes evenings and weekends. Nicotine-free candidates are preferred for this Level 1 Trauma Center position in Florida.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience required.
• ARRT-R certification and BLS required.
• License required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient clinic setting at a Level 1 Trauma Center facility.
• Adult and pediatric outpatient patient population.
• Patient ratio of 1:1.
• Performs imaging of abdomen, upper and lower extremities, spine, pelvis, chest, thorax, and head.
• Uses GE imaging equipment and PACS system.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
• Alternate schedule includes Thur/Fri 8:00 AM-8:00 PM and Sat/Sun 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (40 hours).
• Facility is the only designated Level 1 Trauma Center for Polk, Highlands, and Hardee counties.
• Facility handles over 200,000 ER visits and 49,000 inpatient admissions annually.
• Candidates must be nicotine free.

• Community hospital, teaching hospital, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Bedside/portable procedure and Emergency Department experience preferred
• Skilled in abdomen, upper/lower extremity, spine, pelvis, chest, and head imaging
• Knowledge of infection prevention, isolation precautions/PPE, and radiation safety
