Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with 2+ years of specialty experience and ARRT-R certification for a hospital setting. The incumbent will work in adult acute care and outpatient facilities, performing bedside and portable imaging and standard radiographs.

Responsibilities include using PACS and C-Arm equipment on 4x10 hour day shifts (Tue-Fri, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM) with no on-call requirements; flexibility across age groups (neonate to older adult) is required, and a

Qualifications

• Current BLS and ARRT-R certification required.
• License required if applicable.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in specialty required.
• Experience in adult acute care, adult outpatient, bedside/portable procedures, and pediatric outpatient settings.
• Skilled in imaging of abdomen, chest, head, spine, pelvis, upper and lower extremities.
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred.
• Experience across age groups from neonate to older adult.
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols.

Responsibilities

• Adult acute care and outpatient setting including pediatric outpatient care
• Performs bedside and portable procedures in addition to standard radiographic imaging
• Uses PACS and C-Arm equipment
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Tuesday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Floats between Emergency Department and Inpatient Portables
• No on-call requirements
• Ceil blue scrub color required
• Performs a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies including trauma and mobile/surgical procedures
• Accepts local candidates within a 50 mile radius at a differentiated rate
