Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with 2+ years of experience and ARRT-R certification to join a Level II trauma hospital setting in Wisconsin. The role includes evening 4x10 shifts, holidays, standby call, and cross-setting duties in acute care, ED, ICU, and outpatient areas.

Responsibilities cover chest to pelvis radiographs, PACS workflow, and working with GE/Philips/Siemens equipment, with Epic EMR experience required. Magnet teaching hospital status noted.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R certification required
• BLS certification through American Heart Association required
• Wisconsin state license as a Radiographer required
• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• Experience with contrast media preparation and administration preferred
• Knowledge of infection prevention, isolation precautions, and radiation safety required

Responsibilities

• Evening shift, 4x10 hours, Wednesday through Tuesday from 1415 to 0015
• Holidays and standby call required
• Floating required as needed per facility policy
• Epic EMR experience required
• Level II Trauma experience required, Level I preferred
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Performs a wide range of radiographic studies including chest, abdomen, spine, pelvis, upper and lower extremities, and trauma cases
• Works across multiple settings including adult acute care, emergency department, ICU, and outpatient areas
• Utilizes equipment from GE, Philips, Siemens, and PACS systems
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• References are not required for consideration
• Pass/fail telemetry exam required prior to start with strict passing criteria for adult and pediatric rhythm identification
• Up to two attempts allowed to pass the telemetry exam, with a third attempt possible after completing a cardiac interpretation review course
• Facility is a Magnet-designated teaching hospital ranked as the top hospital in Wisconsin
