American Traveler seeks a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a Level II Trauma Center. Ideal for first-time travelers with at least 1 year of experience.

You will perform imaging across abdomen, chest, head, spine, pelvis, and extremities, using PACS and C-arm. Shifts are 8:00 AM–4:00 PM with no on-call or weekend duties; travel and housing perks available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of radiology experience
• ARRT (R) and BLS certification required
• State license required if applicable, must be in hand at submission
• Epic experience required
• Experience in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Imaging of abdomen, chest, head, spine, pelvis, and extremities
• Isolation precautions and PPE procedures

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex X-ray exams; assist fluoroscopy
• Image adult and pediatric patients in acute and outpatient settings
• May image up to 30 patients per day
• Utilize PACS and C-Arm for bedside, portable, and surgical procedures
• Work 5x8 hour day shifts, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
• No on-call or weekend requirements
• May float between units and sister facilities
• First-time travelers may be considered

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a Level II Trauma Center, ideal for first-time travelers with at least 1 year of experience.

Requirements

• State license required if applicable, must be in hand at time of submission
• Epic experience required
• Experience in a fast-paced acute care environment required
• Skilled in imaging abdomen, chest, head, spine, pelvis, upper and lower extremities
• Proficient with isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• Able to work with patient populations ranging from neonate to older adult

Responsibilities

• Acute care hospital setting within a Level II Trauma Center
• Performs routine and complex X-ray exams and assists with fluoroscopy procedures
• Adult and pediatric patient populations across acute and outpatient settings
• May image up to 30 patients per day
• Utilizes PACS and C-Arm equipment for bedside, portable, and surgical procedures
• 5x8 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• No on-call or weekend requirements
• May float between units and sister facilities
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Facility is a short-term acute care hospital with 379 staffed beds
• Scrub/dress code requires solid navy blue for licensed staff and solid hunter green for unlicensed staff
• Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays
• RTO requests must be submitted upfront during the offer process; post-offer requests may not be granted
• Former Providence employees may return as travelers after a 3-month wait, provided they are not within 50 miles of the facility
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate
• Radius rule of 50 miles applies for travel pay eligibility
• Travelers may be required to float between sister facilities within the state
