American Traveler seeks a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a Level II Trauma Center. Ideal for first-time travelers with at least 1 year of experience.

You will perform imaging across abdomen, chest, head, spine, pelvis, and extremities, using PACS and C-arm. Shifts are 8:00 AM–4:00 PM with no on-call or weekend duties; travel and housing perks available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of radiology experience
• ARRT (R) and BLS certification required
• State license required if applicable, must be in hand at submission
• Epic experience required
• Experience in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Imaging of abdomen, chest, head, spine, pelvis, and extremities
• Isolation precautions and PPE procedures

Responsabilités

• Perform routine and complex X-ray exams; assist fluoroscopy
• Image adult and pediatric patients in acute and outpatient settings
• May image up to 30 patients per day
• Utilize PACS and C-Arm for bedside, portable, and surgical procedures
• Work 5x8 hour day shifts, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
• No on-call or weekend requirements
• May float between units and sister facilities
• First-time travelers may be considered

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for a Level II Trauma Center, requiring at least 1 year of experience and ARRT(R) certification.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technologist required
• ARRT(R) certification and BLS required
• Texas license required in hand at time of submission (license required if applicable)
• Experience in a fast-paced acute care environment required
• LTAC, Trauma Level I, and Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Strong patient care and communication skills required
• Experience with infection prevention, isolation precautions/PPE, and radiation safety required
• Experience with preparation and/or administration of contrast media preferred

Responsibilities

• Acute care hospital setting within a Level II Trauma Center with 379 staffed beds
• X-Ray Tech unit supporting routine and complex radiographic exams
• May image up to 30 patients per day
• Assists with fluoroscopy procedures including arthrography, barium swallow/esophagus, contrast enema, myelography, and upper GI series
• Performs portable/bedside imaging including portable abdomen and chest X-rays
• Covers upper and lower extremity, spine, pelvis, chest, and head imaging studies
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• No on-call or weekend requirements
• Potential to float between units and sister facilities
• Uses GE imaging equipment and PACS system
• Epic EMR experience required
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position as long as license is in hand
• Independently perform routine and complex X-ray exams and assist with fluoroscopy procedures
• Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities near the contracted location
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Dress code requires solid navy blue uniforms or scrubs for licensed personnel
• Free parking available in designated employee/visitor lots
• Former Providence employees may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they are not within 50 miles of the facility
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years are required
