Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an X-Ray Technologist with 2+ years experience and ARRT(R) certification for a community hospital setting in Seymour, Indiana. This travel position requires BLS and Indiana license where applicable, with 3x12 shifts from 7am to 7pm and opportunities across acute care, ED, ICU, OR, and portable imaging.

You will work with Meditech Expanse EMR, GE equipment and PACS, with potential to float within clinical scope.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as an X-Ray Technologist.
• ARRT and BLS certification required.
• IDOH state license required, license if applicable.
• Meditech Expanse EMR experience preferred.
• Community hospital experience preferred.
• Proficiency with abdomen, upper/lower extremity, spine, pelvis, chest, and head imaging.
• Experience with fluoroscopy studies, trauma cases, and mobile/surgical procedures including C-arm.
• Infection prevention, isolation precautions/PPE, radiation safety, and contrast media preparation/administration.
• Peripheral IV starting skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday coverage.
• Work across adult acute care, outpatient, emergency department, ICU, operating room, and bedside/portable settings.
• Uses Meditech Expanse EMR, GE equipment, and PACS system.
• Potential to float within clinical scope to meet facility needs.
• Candidates must provide a copy of their driver's license for consideration.
• Local candidates accepted within an 80-mile radius at local rate.
• First-time travelers considered depending on experience level.
• Call-outs restricted to no more than one week.
