American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for an outpatient clinic in Lakeland, FL. The role requires 3+ years of experience and ARRT(R) certification, with Epic charting system experience preferred.

You'll perform imaging across multiple body regions, support trauma cases, and work a four 10-hour day schedule. Strong radiation safety practices and flawless positioning are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years as Radiology Technologist.
• ARRT(R) certification and BLS required.
• Epic charting system experience required.
• License required if applicable.
• Nicotine-free status required.
• Experience in trauma/ED settings preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs radiographic procedures including abdomen, chest, upper and lower extremity, spine, pelvis, and head imaging.
• Handles trauma cases including trauma shoulder/humerus and trauma lower extremity imaging.
• Uses GE radiography equipment and PACS system.
• Epic EMR required.
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM on Monday/Wednesday and 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday/Sunday.
• Responsible for administering ionizing radiation with high accuracy in positioning and exposure technique.
• Serves as primary liaison between patients, licensed independent practitioners, and support team members.
• Prepares, administers, and documents medication-related activities in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Maintains knowledge of radiation protection and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist
• ARRT(R) certification and BLS required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Proficiency in bedside/portable procedures and Emergency Department imaging preferred
• Skilled in abdomen, upper extremity, lower extremity, spine, pelvis, chest, and head radiographic procedures
• Knowledge of infection prevention, isolation precautions/PPE, and radiation safety required
• License required if applicable

Responsibilities

• Outpatient clinic setting at a Level I Trauma Center
• Adult and pediatric patient population across acute care and outpatient settings
• Performs radiographic procedures including abdomen, chest, upper and lower extremity, spine, pelvis, and head imaging
• Handles trauma cases including trauma shoulder/humerus and trauma lower extremity imaging
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Uses GE radiography equipment and PACS system
• Epic EMR required
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM on Monday/Wednesday and 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Saturday/Sunday
