Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Hawaii. Requires ARRT, BLS, and Hawaii licensure by start date, with independence in general radiography and various DR/C-arm equipment.

Expect varied shifts, about 3 days of call monthly, and no guaranteed hours. Housing/expenses and on-island onboarding are provided for this assignment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of independent experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist.
• Current ARRT certification and BLS certification.
• Hawaii radiologic technologist license required by start of assignment; license required if applicable.
• Experience with Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, Philips Fluoro, Konica DR, and Epic EMR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic Imaging department performing general radiography.
• Varied shifts with an average of 3 days of call per month.
• No guarantee of hours or time off requests.
• 13-week assignment.
• All travelers report to Employee Health 48–72 hours prior to start; arrive Friday before Monday start for clearance.
• No RTO during first 13 weeks.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of independent experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist
• Current ARRT certification and BLS certification
• Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license required by start of assignment; license required if applicable
• Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency operating DR fixed, DR fluoro, C-arm, and portable DR equipment
• Must be assigned a dosimetry badge
• Knowledge of radiation safety and protocols
• Ability to function independently without supervision
• Experience with Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, Philips Fluoro, Konica DR, and Epic EMR preferred

Responsibilities

• No RTO will be granted during the first 13 weeks of the contract
