Job summary

GlobalPoint HC seeks a Radiologic Technologist for a travel assignment in Hawaii. You must hold a Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license, ARRT certification, and BLS, with a minimum of two years' independent experience. No RTO will be granted in the first 13 weeks of contract.

You will operate DR, C-arms, and portable DR equipment, maintaining dosimetry and following safety protocols. Shifts are varied with no guaranteed hours; on arrival, HR/EH clearance will be completed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of independent radiologic technologist experience.
• Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license required at start.
• ARRT certification and BLS certification required.
• Experience with Epic EMR and radiographic equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate DR fixed, DR fluoro, C-arms, and portable DR equipment.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and wear dosimetry badge.
• Shifts: varied with approx. 3 days of call per month, no guaranteed hours.

NO RTO WILL BE GRANTED IN THE FIRST 13 WEEKS OF CONTRACT Any traveler not currently in possession of an active State of HI license must apply upon acceptance of offer. Candidate must have Hawaii License by start of assignment. General Requirements: : Minimum of 2 years of independent experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist. Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in the operation of all radiographic equipment to include DR fixed equipment, DR fluoro equipment, C-arms, portable DR equipment. Must be assigned a dosimetry badge. Experience with Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, Philips Fluoro and EPIC preferred. Traveler must arrive on island the Friday prior to the Monday start for HR/EH clearance appointments. Licensure: A current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer. Certification: A current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification, and a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
