Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Hilo, Hawaii. The role requires 2+ years of independent radiology experience, ARRT certification, BLS, and Hawaii licensure if applicable.

Schedule includes a day shift with 3x12hr calls per month, 36 hours per week, and a 13-week contract. The Radiologic Technologist will operate DR and fluoroscopy equipment, C-arms, and portable DR across modalities in a hospital setting, with a travel lifestyle and housing

Description

• American Traveler is hiring a Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray with 2+ years of independent experience and proficiency across multiple radiographic modalities.

• Diagnostic Imaging department in a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule with an average of 3 days of call per month
• No guarantee of hours or requested time off
• Holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of independent experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist
• Current ARRT certification and BLS certification
• Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license required if applicable
• Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency operating DR fixed equipment, DR fluoro equipment, C-arms, and portable DR equipment
• Must function independently without supervision and have working knowledge of radiation safety and protocols
• Experience with Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, Philips Fluoro, Konica DR, and Epic EMR preferred

Additional Information

• Must be assigned and wear a dosimetry badge
• Candidates without an active Hawaii license must apply for licensure upon acceptance of offer and obtain it by the start of the assignment
• Travelers must arrive on island the Thursday before the Monday start date to attend an Employee Health clearance appointment on Friday
• No RTO will be granted during the first 13 weeks of the contract
