Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 3+ years of acute hospital experience and ARRT(CT) certification for a 13-week travel assignment in Hawaii.

Shifts are 10 hours, with no on-call, and travelers must meet health requirements prior to starting. Vaccination is required, and no time off will be granted in the first 13 weeks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of acute hospital CT experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ARRT(CT) certification.
• Hawaii license required by start of assignment, if applicable.
• Must perform CT scans independently per radiologist protocols.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic Imaging department performing CT and vascular technologist duties.
• 10-hour varied shifts with no call requirement.
• 13-week assignment length.
• Report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to start; appointments scheduled at the facility.
• Arrive in Hawaii the Thursday before a Monday start to report to Employee Health.
• COVID-19 vaccination is required.
• No RTO during the first 13 weeks of the contract.

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 3+ years of acute hospital experience and ARRT(CT) certification for a 13-week travel assignment in Hawaii.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience required, including at least 2 years in an acute hospital setting
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ARRT(CT) certification required
• Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license required by start of assignment; license required if applicable
• Must be able to scan per radiologist protocols and perform routine CT scans independently without supervision
• Experience with Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation preferred
• Experience with venipuncture, MIP, MPR, 3D imaging, biopsies or drainages, vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke imaging is a plus

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic Imaging department performing CT and vascular technologist duties
• 10-hour varied shifts with no call requirement
• 13-week assignment length
• All travelers must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to assignment start, with appointments scheduled at the facility
• Candidates should plan to arrive in Hawaii the Thursday before a Monday start to report to Employee Health that Friday morning
• Proof of flu vaccination or an approved medical/religious exception is required prior to contract start, and flu vaccination can be administered during the employee health clearance appointment
• No RTO will be granted during the first 13 weeks of the contract
• COVID-19 vaccination is required
