Job summary

American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with ARRT (T) certification and at least 1 year of experience for a day-shift hospital assignment. The role involves delivering radiation therapy treatments using Elekta Infinity and Varian systems, with charting in Epic, and collaboration across oncology staff.

Responsibilities include a 5x8 schedule, holiday coverage, and potential float between facilities. Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered for adjusted compensation.

Qualifications

• Active ARRT (T) certification required.
• State license required if applicable; compact license must be in hand at time of submission.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience required.
• Experience with CBCT/kV/mV imaging, beam modifying/positioning, and electron field treatment.
• Preferred experience with SRS, respiratory gating, Tomo Therapy, and dosimetry.
• Preferred experience treating benign brain tumors, heterotopic bone, keloids, Hodgkin's and Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, pancreatic cancer, and testicular cancer.
• 2 references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required.

Responsibilities

• Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule, approximately 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM with start time varying based on volume and machine schedule.
• Epic charting system preferred
• Uses Elekta Infinity and Varian 21 ex/ix treatment units
• Utilizes Impac MOSAIQ
• Deliver radiation therapy treatments across adult acute care and outpatient settings
• May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted up-front; minimal RTO is preferred
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
• Former Providence facility employees may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they are not within 50 miles of the facility
• First-time travelers not considered for this position
