Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Radiation Oncology department.
• Day shift, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
• Uses EPIC for electronic charting.
• Administer ionizing radiation per prescriptions from Radiation Oncologist.
• Perform patient simulation, immobilization device setup, and treatment chart documentation.
• Verify treatment MUs, beam energy, and cumulative doses and document all information.
• Prepare treatment rooms and equipment, including cerrobend block fabrication.
• Develop x-rays and port films, monitor patients for reactions, maintain unit cleanliness and stock levels.
• Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives and identify process improvements.

• Work in a hospital Radiation Oncology department
• Day shift, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Uses EPIC for electronic charting
• Administer ionizing radiation for therapeutic purposes per Radiation Oncologist prescriptions
• Perform patient simulation, immobilization device setup, and treatment chart documentation
• Verify treatment MUs, beam energy, and cumulative doses while documenting all required information
• Prepare treatment rooms and equipment, including cerrobend block fabrication
• Develop x-rays and port films, observe patients for reactions, and maintain unit cleanliness and stock levels
• Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives and identify process improvement opportunities
• Returning employees must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
