American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with ARRT (T) certification and 2+ years of experience for a busy outpatient radiation oncology center. Qualifications

• ARRT (T) certification and license as applicable.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in radiation therapy.
• Experience with TrueBeam treatment units.
• Experience with external beam therapy, IMRT, and SRS.
• Experience with CT simulation and treatment-site simulation.
• Experience treating diverse cancer types (brain tumors, prostate cancer with seeds/fiducials, lymphomas, pancreatic/kidney cancers, keloids, heterotopic bone, gynecomastia).
• Knowledge of radiation safety, PPE usage, and beam modifying/positioning.
• Experience with CBCT/kV/mV imaging.
• First-time travelers accepted with required experience.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient radiation oncology center setting.
• Adult outpatient treatment population.
• Day shift with flexible scheduling (5:30am–10pm; 8-hour shifts).
• No weekend or on-call requirement.
• May float to a sister facility 11.7 miles away.
• Operate TrueBeam treatment units.
• Utilize Varian Vision/ARIA for record & verify.
• Complete facility training modules within first week.
• Max 10 RTO days per 13-week contract with blackout periods.

• Must be able to handle a busy workflow in a fast-paced facility
• Experience with external beam therapy, IMRT, and SRS
• Experience with CT simulation and treatment site simulation
• Experience treating benign brain tumors, prostate cancer with seeds/fiducials, Hodgkin's and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, pancreatic and kidney cancer, keloids, heterotopic bone, and gynecomastia
• Knowledge of radiation safety, isolation precautions/PPE, and beam modifying/positioning
• Experience with CBCT/kV/mV imaging
• First-time travelers accepted with required experience

Responsibilities

• Outpatient radiation oncology center setting
• Adult outpatient treatment population
• Day shift, flex scheduling between 5:30am-10pm, 5-8s flex shifts at 8 hours each
• No weekend requirement
• No on-call requirement
• May float to a sister facility located 11.7 miles away
• Uses TrueBeam treatment units
• Uses Varian Vision/ARIA record & verify systems
• Grey or steel scrub color required
• Completion of facility-specific training modules required within the first week of assignment
• Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract, with blackout periods around major holidays
• No blocked scheduling requests permitted
• Candidates previously employed by the health system or its affiliates may be subject to eligibility review
• Returning travelers who completed a full year on assignment may not be rebooked for at least one year
