Newsandtribune is seeking a Radiation Therapist RT(T) with ARRT(T) certification for a Level 1 Trauma hospital's Radiation Oncology department. Requires ARRT(T), BLS, and RRT education with at least 1 year experience. Familiarity with Truebeam, gating, and CT simulation is essential.

The role involves working in a Radiation Oncology unit serving an adult population, with day shifts 6:30 AM–3:00 PM and every other weekend. Licenses may be required; travel-rate criteria apply.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT(T) certification required.
• RRT education required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in radiation therapy.
• Experience with Truebeam, DIBH gating, and CT sim required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Radiation Oncology department within a Level 1 Trauma Center.
• Adult patient population.
• Uses Varian Truebeam, Eclipse, and GE CT Sim equipment.
• Uses Epic/Aria for electronic medical records.
• Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
• Every other weekend required.
• No floating or call requirements.
• 2 openings available.
• Facility is a tertiary care regional referral hospital with a wide range of specialty services.
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays.
• Scrubs of any color acceptable; denim and camouflage attire not permitted.
• Candidates must complete PA-specific background clearances including Child Abuse History Clearance, fingerprinting, and PATCH State Police Clearance.
• Candidates must be 60+ miles from the facility to be considered for travel rate.
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months.
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time.
