American Traveler, LLC. seeks an ARRT Registered Radiation Therapist with OH license and 2+ years of experience for a hospital outpatient radiation oncology department offering advanced treatment modalities.

The role includes a 5x8 schedule (Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM) with no weekends or call, across 3 linear accelerators. Travelers float first when needed; residency must exceed 100 miles from the facility for eligibility.

Qualifications

• Active OH Radiation Therapist license is required
• ARRT (Radiation Therapy) certification
• BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist
• EPIC charting experience required
• Experience with External Beam Therapy, IMRT, and SRS preferred
• Experience with CT simulation, custom molds, and custom shields preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient and inpatient radiation therapy in a hospital setting
• 5x8 shift schedule, Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, no weekends or call
• Operate across 3 Linear Accelerators (2 TrueBeam, 1 Halcyon) with 80–90 treatments per day
• Perform 3D, IMRT, SRS, and SBRT treatment modalities
• Support CT scanners for simulation appointments (6–7 scans/day)
• Collaborate with 5 Radiation Oncologists for consults, follow-ups, and on-treatment visits
• Utilize ARIA and Eclipse for treatment planning; EPIC for charting
• Administer radiation therapy and maintain detailed daily treatment records

• Associate's Degree in Radiography

• Experience with External Beam Therapy, IMRT, and SRS preferred
• Experience with CT simulation, custom molds, and custom shields preferred

Responsibilities

• Outpatient and inpatient radiation oncology department within a hospital setting
• 5x8 shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekends or call
• Department averages 80-90 treatments per day across 3 Linear Accelerators (2 TrueBeam, 1 Halcyon)
• Performs 3D, IMRT, SRS, and SBRT treatment modalities
• Supports 2 CT scanners for simulation appointments, averaging 6-7 scans per day
• Works alongside 5 Radiation Oncologists seeing patients for consults, follow-ups, and on-treatment visits
• Uses ARIA and Eclipse (Varian) for treatment planning and record & verify systems
• Uses EPIC for charting
• Administer radiation therapy treatments and maintain detailed daily treatment records including dosages and calculations
• Perform simulations, acquire treatment parameters, patient contours, and dose calculations
• Coordinate patient schedules for inpatients and outpatients, communicating with families and hospital personnel
• Monitor patient condition and progress daily, including skin care and treatment reactions
• Assist Radiation Oncologists with Brachytherapy procedures
• Work as part of a comprehensive team including Radiation Therapists, Nurses, PSAs, Radiation Oncologists, Dosimetrists, and Physicists
• Every other weekend and every other holiday coverage required
• Travelers are expected to float first when needed
• Maximum of 10 RTO days per contract, with no RTO allowed during initial weeks of assignment
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Open to candidates without previous travel assignment experience
