American Traveler, LLC. seeks a Radiation Therapist for a hospital radiation oncology department with an active state license and 3+ years of clinical experience. The role emphasizes safe, accurate delivery of prescribed treatments and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

Day shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, with EPIC/ARIA EMR usage for charting and verification. No call or holiday coverage; generous housing allowance and travel/licensure support provided.

Qualifications

• Active license required as applicable.
• ARRT (R)(T) certification required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in radiation therapy.
• Minimum 1 year of travel experience.
• Associate of Applied Science degree in Radiation Therapy.
• EPIC/ARIA EMR experience required.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Radiation Oncology department.
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm.
• Uses EPIC/ARIA for electronic medical records.
• No call or holiday coverage required.
• Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments safely and accurately following physician orders and established protocols.
• Perform patient verification and safety checks including identity confirmation, imaging verification, and treatment timeouts.
• Acquire and evaluate treatment imaging such as KV, MV, and CBCT to ensure accurate positioning and delivery.
• Review treatment plans and perform chart checks to maintain accuracy and prevent errors.
• Provide patient-centered care and education while collaborating with Radiation Oncologists and the multidisciplinary team.
• Candidates must reside outside a 60 mile radius of the facility.
