Job summary

American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with ARRT(R)(T) certification and Ohio license to join a hospital radiation oncology team on a 13-week assignment.

The role requires graduation from a CAHEP-accredited program, 1 year of combined permanent experience in Ohio, and proficiency with radiation oncology EMR.

On-site, day shifts with on-call rotations; vaccination required; travel assignments limited to 18 months with a 6-month break before returning.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R)(T) certification required.
• Active Ohio Radiation Therapist license required if applicable.
• Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited School of Radiation Therapy Technology.
• Minimum of 1 year combined permanent experience in the specialty (Ohio).
• Experience with radiation oncology EMR and record/verify systems.
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director.
• Negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine for non-nursing travelers.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Radiation Therapist role in a Radiology/Cardiology allied health setting.
• Day shift, 5x8 hour schedule with flexible start times between 6am and 12pm.
• Weekend and holiday on-call rotations required.
• May float to other facilities within the health system as needed.
• Uses radiation oncology specific EMR with record and verify functionality.
• Experience with external radiation therapy, IMRT, IGRT, and CT simulation preferred.
• Deliver external beam radiation therapy treatments and support CT simulation procedures.
• Work as part of a collaborative radiation oncology care team.
• Expected to work every other holiday.
• COVID-19 and flu vaccination required, with medical or religious exemptions only.

• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required
• Negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine required for non-nursing/CST travelers
