Job summary

FullShift Staffing is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to support rehabilitation for residents recovering from illness or surgery. Under the supervision of licensed therapists, you will help patients regain mobility, strength, and independence.

Responsibilities include documenting services for billing, ensuring care aligns with the Plan of Care, developing individualized therapy activities, and coordinating with other disciplines as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Valid PTA license or certification in the state of practice, or proof of license eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide support care to residents seeking short-term/transitional care to recover and rehabilitate.
• Assist in delivering quality patient care under supervision of licensed therapists.
• Document all services provided for accurate and timely billing.
• Ensure patient care follows the Plan of Care and organization guidelines and regulations.
• Under supervision of a Physical Therapist, develop comprehensive care plans and individualized therapy programs.
• Identify need for referrals to other disciplines to address patient needs under supervision.
• Other duties may be assigned at any time.
