Job summary

FullShift Staffing is seeking a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant to support licensed therapists in rehabilitating patients recovering from illness or injury, helping them regain strength, mobility and independence.

The PTA will document services for billing, ensure adherence to the Plan of Care, and coordinate with other disciplines to address patient needs, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license or certification in state of practice, or proof of license eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide support care of residents recovering to regain function under supervision of licensed therapists.
• Assist in providing quality patient care and document all services for billing purposes.
• Ensure patient care follows the Plan of Care, guidelines and professional standards; comply with Federal and State laws.
• Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, develop and implement individualized therapy programs to restore and enhance performance.
• Identify need for referrals to other disciplines to address patient needs under PT supervision.
