Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Requires valid Physical Therapy Assistant license or certification in the state of practice, or proof of license eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide support care to residents seeking short-term/transitional care to recover and rehabilitate.
• Assist in delivering quality patient care under supervision of licensed therapists.
• Document all services to ensure accurate and timely billing of therapy services.
• Ensure patient care follows the Plan of Care and organizational guidelines, meeting professional standards and laws.
• Under supervision of a Physical Therapist, develop and implement tailored therapy programs to restore and enhance performance.
• Identify needs for referrals to other disciplines to address patient needs under supervision of a PT.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
