Healthforce is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week LTAC assignment in Webster, Massachusetts. The PTA will support skilled therapy under a licensed PT, focusing on mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence for residents.

The role offers a travel assignment with weekly pay ranging from $1,303 to $1,369, credentialing and onboarding assistance, and ongoing clinical support. Start date is 10/26/2026, with guaranteed hours to be discussed during onboarding.

Formación

• Active PTA license in Massachusetts.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Prior SNF or geriatric experience preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work under supervision of a licensed PT.

Responsabilidades

• Provide skilled physical therapy services under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Implement treatment plans to improve mobility, strength and independence.
• Deliver direct therapy sessions including exercises, gait training and balance activities.
• Observe and report resident responses and progress to the supervising PT.
• Assist with resident assessments and contribute to documentation and care planning.
• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises to promote safety and carryover.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and proper use of equipment.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and coordinate resident care.
• Adhere to state, federal, and facility regulations and professional standards.
• Uphold licensure requirements and pursue continuing education.
