Job summary

Healthforce Healthcare LLC is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for a LTAC travel assignment in Reading, PA. Start date 11/16/2026 for 13 weeks with guaranteed hours and weekly pay.

The role involves PTA duties in a long-term acute care setting under supervision, focusing on mobility, strength and functional independence. Travel, housing assistance and recruiter support are provided.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to perform PTA duties in LTAC setting under supervision.
• Strong communication and documentation skills required.
• Reliable with a 13-week assignment and guaranteed hours.
• Able to work the 08:00–16:30 shift and travel as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide PTA support under supervision for LTAC patients to restore mobility, strength and independence.
• Implement and assist with therapeutic exercise programs, gait training, transfers, ROM and balance work.
• Monitor patient responses, document progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Prepare treatment spaces, set up equipment and maintain infection control and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to adjust care plans and communicate goals.
• Document sessions accurately in patient records per facility policies.
