American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for an Inpatient Rehab unit in Ohio. An active OH PTA license and 1+ year of PTA experience are required. The role includes day shifts, weekend rotation every 3rd weekend, and no on-call duties.

The position involves working in a hospital with over 1,500 employees across a 10-county region and using MediTech EMR for charting. Travel housing and licensure reimbursements are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of PTA experience
• Graduate of an accredited APTA school
• Inpatient rehab and acute care experience preferred
• Current PTA skills checklist within 1 year

Responsibilities

• Inpatient rehab unit in a hospital setting with 1,500+ employees across a 10-county region
• Day shift 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Weekend rotation every 3rd weekend
• No on-call requirements
• Use MediTech EMR for documentation
• Float to units within scope of practice including Acute Care, Rehab, Transitional Care, Pediatrics, Outpatient, Wellness Center
• Administer modalities and procedures under the supervision of a Licensed PT
• Carry out plans of care under PT direction in line with Ohio state rules
• Maintain professional conduct per APTA Ethical Standards
• Physical demands include standing, walking, kneeling, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds
• Work environment includes indoor/outdoor settings with possible exposure to animals
• Gray scrubs dress code
• Max 5 days of RTO during assignment

• Carry out plans of care under the direction of a Physical Therapist in accordance with Ohio state regulations
• Demonstrate professional conduct consistent with APTA Standards of Ethical Conduct
• Physical demands include standing, walking, kneeling, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and supporting patients
• Work environment includes both indoor and outdoor settings with possible exposure to animals
• Gray scrubs required as dress code
• Maximum of 5 days of RTO can be requested during the assignment
