Applegreen (US) Welcome Centers in New Jersey seeks a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift teams, ensuring exceptional customer service and strict adherence to brand standards and food safety requirements. This role trains new hires and monitors cash handling compliance.

You will oversee opening/closing procedures, operate the POS system, and maintain product quality and cleanliness across the plaza. Flexible scheduling is required to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Cash handling experience required.
• Customer service experience required.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Operate POS system and process payments following cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen-related tasks: prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging and cleaning.
• Stock, clean and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards and all policies.
• Inform leadership of observations or issues.
• Execute additional tasks as assigned.
