Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services in Teaneck, NJ is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift teams and ensure exceptional service for travelers. You will train new hires, supervise cash handling, and uphold brand standards across the plaza operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in cash handling and customer service is required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Operate POS system and process payments following policies.
• Ensure proper food handling and temperature checks.
• Assist with kitchen tasks including prepping, cooking, packaging and cleaning.
• Stock, clean and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements and company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations/concerns.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
