Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead on-shift teams, ensure exceptional customer service, and uphold brand standards and food safety. The role trains new hires and monitors cash handling policies.

You will manage opening, closing, POS operations, food prep tasks, stock and sanitation, cross-sell products, and maintain product knowledge across the plaza while supporting a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging with customers and resolving issues.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures according to policies.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling procedures.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks such as prep, cooking, packaging, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of products and services in the plaza.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards and all policies; report observations to leadership.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
