Job summary

Applegreen USA is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead on-site teams at our travel plazas. You will ensure exceptional customer service, supervise team members, and enforce brand standards and food safety.

Responsibilities include opening/closing tasks, POS operation, accurate cash handling, and training new hires. A fast-paced environment requires reliability, flexibility, and strong communication across shifts.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures.
• Operate POS and process payments per policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking, and storage.
• Perform kitchen tasks: prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, cleaning.
• Stock and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety and company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of issues.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
