ApplegreenUSA operates over 80 travel plazas across the Northeast and Midwest, providing convenience, comfort, retail, and a wide range of food options. The Shift Supervisor will lead on-shift teams, ensure friendly customer service, and manage opening/closing procedures while maintaining brand standards.

The role involves operating the POS, handling cash, supervising kitchen tasks, stocking, and cross-selling products. Flexibility for days, nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen-related tasks (prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, cleaning).
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Cross-sell and upsell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety, and company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or problems.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
