Applegreen USA operates over 80 travel plazas across the Northeast and Midwest, offering convenience, retail, and a wide range of food options. The Shift Supervisor will lead shifts, ensure excellent customer service, and enforce brand and food safety standards while training new team members.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, cash handling, kitchen tasks, and maintaining product knowledge.

Formación

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging with customers and resolving complaints.
• Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists per policies.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling policies.
• Ensure proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, and temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks such as prep, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
• Actively cross-sell and upsell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards, food safety requirements, and company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or concerns.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
