Applegreen USA operates over 80 travel plazas across the Northeast and Midwest that provide convenience, retail, and food options. The Shift Supervisor leads shifts, trains new team members, and ensures brand standards and food safety.

You will manage cash handling and customer service while supporting plaza leadership. The role requires flexible scheduling including days, nights, weekends and holidays; the ideal candidate has supervisory experience and a focus on pace, performance, and customer

Qualifications

• Cash handling and customer service experience required.
• Shift supervisor or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of team members on shift.
• Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging with customers and resolving complaints.
• Open, daily and close procedures/checklists per policies.
• Operate POS system, process payments, and follow cash handling policies.
• Follow food safety: wrapping, labelling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, temperature checks.
• Perform kitchen tasks: prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, cleaning.
• Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation/equipment.
• Cross-sell and up-sell products.
• Maintain knowledge of plaza products and services.
• Assist in training new team members.
• Follow brand standards and all company policies.
• Inform plaza leadership of observations or concerns.
• Execute other tasks as assigned.
