Job summary

Applegreen USA Welcome Centers is seeking a General Manager for a QSR inside a travel plaza on a major highway. You will oversee daily operations, drive profitability, manage a dedicated team, and ensure service, food quality, and safety standards.

Responsibilities include budgeting, staffing, training, customer relations, and collaboration with Brand Partners, HR, and Finance to meet targets and maintain brand integrity.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
• 2+ years of supervision or unit-level management in a QSR.
• Available to work a flexible on-site schedule approximately 50 hours per week including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Stand/walk for extended periods; lift/carry at least 20 pounds.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of associates and managers to meet sales, service and food quality targets.
• Maintain budgets, inventory, costs, and reporting; ensure profitability.
• Ensure brand standards and food safety requirements are met.
• Foster a learning, development, and recognition culture.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a strong QSR team.
• Hire, coach, train, promote, discipline, and transfer team members.
• Monitor cash handling policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
• Address customer needs and resolve issues to maintain positive relationships.
• Collaborate with Brand Partners, HR, Loss Prevention, Finance, and Facilities.
• Maintain strong partnerships with vendors and communities.
