Applegreen USA Welcome Centers is seeking a General Manager for a QSR location inside a travel plaza. You will oversee day-to-day operations, lead a dedicated team, and drive profitability while maintaining brand standards and food safety.

Role requires strong leadership, budget discipline, and the ability to recruit and mentor staff. Flexible schedule, with on-site duties and collaboration across brand partners and support teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience as a supervisor or unit-level manager in a quick service restaurant.
• Available to work a flexible on-site schedule approximately 50 hours per week including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of associates and managers to meet or exceed sales, speed of service, and customer satisfaction targets.
• Maintain operating budgets, inventory, food and labor costs, gross profit, and reporting.
• Ensure brand standards and food safety requirements are consistently met.
• Foster an engaging work culture with learning, development, and recognition.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a strong QSR team and manage staffing levels.
• Monitor cash handling policies and ensure policy adherence.
• Collaborate with Brand Partners, HR, Loss Prevention, Finance, and Facilities.
