Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking a General Manager for a quick service restaurant inside a travel plaza on a major highway. You will lead daily operations, drive profitability, and manage a dedicated team to hit financial and service targets.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in fast-paced food service, budget control, brand standards, and customer satisfaction with a focus on safety and staff development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years as supervisor or unit manager in a QSR.
• Flexible on-site schedule ~50 hours/week incl. days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods; lift at least 20 lbs.
• EOE and Drug Free Workplace statement.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of the QSR to meet sales, speed, satisfaction, and food safety standards.
• Maintain budgets, inventory, food and labor costs, and reporting.
• Ensure brand standards and food safety requirements are met consistently.
• Foster a learning, development, and recognition culture; recruit and develop staff.
• Oversee hiring, coaching, training, and performance; enforce cash handling policies.
• Collaborate with Brand Partners, HR, Loss Prevention, Finance, and Facilities.
