Job summary

Applegreen operates travel plazas with diverse food options and a focus on refreshing travelers. The General Manager will oversee daily operations of the QSR inside a travel plaza, drive profitability, maintain brand standards, and lead a dedicated team to meet performance metrics.

The role requires managing budgets, schedules, staffing, and adherence to safety standards while fostering a positive work culture and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years experience as a supervisor or unit-level manager in a quick service restaurant.
• Flexible on-site schedule ~50 hours per week including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to stand, walk for extended periods; lift/carry at least 20 pounds.
• Occasional travel to support other locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of the QSR team to meet sales, speed of service, customer satisfaction, brand standards and food safety.
• Maintain budgets, inventory, food and labor costs, gross profit and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards and food safety requirements.
