Job Summary

As one of the frontline positions for the company, this role is integral to the company's success. The primary purpose of a Customer Service Associate is to interact directly with customers, providing fast and friendly service while ensuring a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities

1. Customer Service: Greet customers courteously, provide a pleasant shopping experience, respond to inquiries promptly, handle complaints according to company policies, and maintain product knowledge for recommendations.
2. Cash Handling: Operate point of sale equipment accurately, process sales efficiently, perform till balancing, and maintain cash drawer levels.
3. Stock Control: Receive and stock merchandise, lift up to 50 pounds following proper procedures, ensure stock is faced, clean, and presentable, apply FIFO system, and manage damaged or expired stock appropriately.
4. Security & Loss Prevention: Maintain control of the store, use prevention techniques to minimize loss, and secure the premises at closing.
5. Cleanliness: Keep the store clean, including floors, walls, counters, and restrooms, following sanitary standards.
6. Teamwork & Communication: Collaborate effectively with team members, assist in training, and communicate issues to management timely.
7. Occupational Health & Safety: Perform duties safely, follow safety policies, and report unsafe conditions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Physically capable of standing for long hours.
• Pass background check.
• Ability to pass a “Class C” operator certification.
