Responsibilities

• Provide PTA support under supervision for LTAC patients to restore mobility, strength and independence.
• Implement and assist with therapeutic exercise programs, gait training, transfers, ROM and balance work.
• Monitor patient responses, document progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Prepare treatment spaces, set up equipment and maintain infection control and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to adjust care plans and communicate goals.
• Document sessions accurately in patient records per facility policies.
