Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week LTAC travel assignment in Ennis, TX. Start date 10/05/2026, 36 hours per week, day shift, with guaranteed pay and travel support.

The PTA will work under a licensed PT, implement treatment plans, assist with ADLs, document progress, and collaborate with the care team in a LTC setting. Travel credentials are supported by Healthforce.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in Texas.
• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting.
• Experience in a LTAC or skilled nursing environment preferred.
• Ability to work the day shift and travel for a 13-week assignment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide PTA services under supervision of a licensed physical therapist in a LTAC setting.

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and mobility, including transfers and adaptive equipment use.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment; ensure proper equipment setup and infection control.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other disciplines to support comprehensive patient care.
