Healthforce Healthcare LLC is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for a LTAC travel assignment in Reading, Pennsylvania. Start date 11/16/2026 for 13 weeks with weekly pay range of $1,462–$1,536 and guaranteed 35 hours per week.

Shift is 5x8 days, 08:00–16:30, in a LTAC long-term care setting. Responsibilities include providing PTA support under supervision, implementing exercise programs, gait training, transfers, ROM, balance training, and collaborating with the team.

Qualifications

Eligible to work in the United States.
Ability to perform PTA duties in an LTAC setting under supervision.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Reliability and ability to participate in a 13-week assignment with guaranteed hours.
Ability to work the listed shift schedule (08:00–16:30) and adapt to a travel assignment.

Responsibilities

Provide PTA support under supervision for patients in a long-term acute care setting, focusing on restoring and maintaining mobility, strength, and functional independence.
Implement and assist with individualized therapeutic exercise programs, gait training, transfers, ROM activities, and balance training.
Monitor patient responses to interventions, document progress, and report changes to the supervising physical therapist.
Prepare treatment spaces, set up equipment, and ensure proper infection control and safety procedures are followed.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to adjust plans of care and communicate patient goals and progress.
Document sessions accurately in patient records and ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
