Job summary

Northshore Home Health Care is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in home health settings, focusing on improving mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing quality of life.

You will develop personalized rehabilitation programs and implement treatment plans using a range of techniques and equipment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy license per state regulations and current BLS certification.

Seeking a travel Physical Therapist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with physical impairments, focusing on improving mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing quality of life. The role involves developing personalized rehabilitation programs, implementing treatment plans using various techniques and equipment, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care. Educating patients and caregivers on home exercises, injury prevention, and self-management is essential. Maintaining safety standards and participating in professional development are key duties.

Qualifications & Skills

Valid Physical Therapy license in accordance with state regulations and current BLS certification are required. Preferred qualifications include a Doctorate in physical therapy, relevant experience, and additional certifications. Essential skills include critical thinking, effective communication, technical proficiency, physical ability to assist with equipment, and the capacity to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism. Strong interpersonal, motor, and sensory skills are necessary.
