Qualifications

Role Overview:

A travel Physical Therapist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients with physical impairments to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life. Working in diverse healthcare settings, they develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans using exercise and manual therapy techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate patients through assessments and history, create and implement tailored rehabilitation programs, operate therapy equipment, monitor progress, and adjust treatments accordingly. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care, educate patients and caregivers on exercises and injury prevention, and maintain documentation of all interventions. Ensure safe, infection-controlled environments and participate in quality improvement activities. Support discharge planning and engage in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Valid Physical Therapy license per state regulations, current BLS certification, strong clinical skills, critical thinking, effective communication, and interpersonal abilities. Physical demands include mobility, lifting, and manual tasks. Must possess visual acuity, mental resilience, and proficiency in PC use.
