Job summary

Mental Health Association of Rochester is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist to assess patients, design personalized rehab plans, and implement therapies to improve mobility and reduce pain.

Job description

Role:

A travel Physical Therapist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life. They develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans using exercise, manual therapy, and specialized equipment.

Responsibilities:

Conduct patient assessments, create and implement rehabilitation programs, operate therapy equipment safely, monitor progress, and adjust treatments accordingly. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care, educate patients and caregivers, and maintain documentation of evaluations and outcomes. Adhere to safety protocols and participate in quality improvement activities. Support discharge planning and promote long-term recovery strategies.
