American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Long Term Care facility in Massachusetts. The role requires MA state licensure and prior LTC or rehab experience, with a 13-week assignment and 35 guaranteed hours per week on day shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy experience required.
• New grads considered if Level II clinical experience was completed.
• LTC or Rehab setting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Screens, evaluates, and treats patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care needs.
• Develops and adjusts individualized plans of care using evidence-based practice and standardized assessments.
• Administers manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, ambulation training, modalities, and wound care as needed.
• Provides consultation to patients, families, and caregivers regarding physical disorders.
• Communicates patient progress and treatment plans with supervisors and healthcare team members.
• Completes discharge summaries and documentation per regulatory and clinical standards.
• Participates in patient care conferences, utilization review, and rehabilitation meetings.
• May supervise physical therapist assistants, rehab aides, and students.
• Adheres to APTA and state practice standards and code of conduct.
• Up to 7 days of RTO may be requested.
