Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with 2+ years of outpatient experience to treat orthopedic and neurologic patients in a clinic setting.

This role requires BLS certification, a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, and state licensure if applicable. Epic charting experience is mandatory, with a caseload of about 10 visits per day and flexible day-shift options. Weekends are not required, and travel is welcome for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of outpatient physical therapy experience.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required.
• State licensure as a Physical Therapist required if applicable.
• Epic charting experience required.
• Experience with orthopedic conditions including cervicalgia, low back pain, post-op spinal/shoulder/cervical surgery, and total joint replacements.
• Experience with neurologic conditions including stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, and related disorders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient clinic setting treating post-surgical and general orthopedic conditions (80%), lymphedema care (10%), and neurologic conditions (10%).
• Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday, with negotiable options of five 8-hour days, four 9-hour days plus a half day, or four 10-hour days.
• Caseload of approximately 10 visits per day.
• Uses Epic for charting.
• No on-call or weekend requirements.
• Responsibilities include patient assessment, home exercise program development, and patient/family education.
• Open to first-time travelers who meet experience requirements.
• Completion of all facility-specific modules required within the first week of assignment.
• Candidates previously employed by UCHealth or affiliates must disclose this information for eligibility review.
• Returning travelers who completed a full year on assignment must wait at least one year before rebooking.
• Accepts local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility.
